Featured on WBZ: Redefining Maternal Mental Health Support in Massachusetts
At SOLEO, we believe mothers deserve more support, connection, and compassionate care during pregnancy and postpartum. WBZ/CBS Boston recently highlighted our mission to redefine maternal mental health care in Massachusetts through specialized therapy, integrative day treatment programming, and community-centered support for women navigating the emotional challenges of motherhood. We are honored to help create a space where mothers feel seen, supported, and not alone.
Why Maternal Mental Health Support Matters
Pregnancy and postpartum can bring profound emotional, physical, and identity changes. While many mothers expect exhaustion and stress, many are unprepared for the intensity of postpartum anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, overwhelm, isolation, or burnout that can follow. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are among the most common complications of childbirth, yet many women struggle silently or feel unsure where to turn for support.
At SOLEO, we believe maternal mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and built specifically for mothers. Seeking support is not a sign of failure — it is an important part of healing, connection, and caring for both mother and baby.

Support for Pregnancy Through Postpartum
Mental health challenges during motherhood can look different for every woman. Some mothers may feel constantly anxious or overwhelmed. Others may feel emotionally numb, disconnected, irritable, lonely, or unlike themselves. Many women struggle quietly while trying to continue caring for everyone around them.
SOLEO was created to provide a softer, more supportive approach to maternal mental health care — one that helps mothers feel understood, connected, and supported without judgment.

You don’t have to navigate this season alone.
