Medication Management

Compassionate, evidence-based prescribing for women navigating fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum.

  • At SOLEO, our in-house psychiatric provider—certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C)—offers thoughtful and personalized medication management tailored to the unique needs of mothers. Whether you're exploring treatment for postpartum depression, perinatal anxiety, birth trauma, or mood shifts related to hormonal changes, we provide safe, informed, and respectful care every step of the way.

Our team specializes in psychiatric support for women during the perinatal period, including:

    • Pregnancy and postpartum-safe medication options

    • Coordination with therapists, OB/GYNs, doulas, and primary care providers

    • Holistic, whole-person mental health treatment plans

    • Support for mothers with prior or ongoing mental health diagnoses

We believe medication can be a valuable tool—used thoughtfully, never rushed, and always in partnership with you. When helpful, partners or loved ones may be included in care planning to enhance understanding and support.

Our goal is to reduce the stress of navigating care, offering quick access to psychiatric evaluation, prescription support, and ongoing monitoring—all under one roof.

  • At SOLEO, we offer compassionate, clinically-informed psychiatric medication management for women navigating fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood. We know that considering medication can feel like a big step—and we’re here to guide you through it with care, transparency, and expertise.

Our approach is rooted in perinatal mental health best practices, led by an in-house PMH-C certified psychiatric provider who specializes in the unique mental health needs of mothers. Every treatment plan is personalized—based on your symptoms, life context, preferences, and goals. We take the time to listen and walk with you, not just prescribe.

We also collaborate closely with your SOLEO therapist, OB/GYN, midwife, doula, or outside providers to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.

    Common Concerns We Support:

    • Postpartum depression (PPD)

    • Perinatal anxiety or OCD

    • Birth trauma

    • Sleep disruption or rage

    • Mood disorders during fertility treatment

    • Medication adjustments during breastfeeding

  • Starting medication can feel overwhelming—but we’re here to make it simple, collaborative, and supportive.

Whether you’re new to psychiatric care or looking to transition providers, we begin with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to understand your symptoms, history, goals, and current season of motherhood. From there, our in-house PMH-C prescriber will walk you through safe and effective treatment options, including whether medication is recommended.

If you're already working with a SOLEO therapist, we’ll coordinate care seamlessly within our team. If you're new to SOLEO, we welcome outside referrals and are happy to collaborate with your existing providers.
