About SOLEO

Born from experience. Built for moms.

SOLEO was created by two moms, with seven kids between us and one shared belief: moms deserve better.

Our story

From different sides, the same gap

We recognized the need for better support, deeper community, and a space where every mother’s journey is honored and shared.

One of us, a perinatal psychotherapist, sat with countless women navigating the emotional toll of new motherhood, alone. The other spent years leading operations at a major healthcare company. From different sides of the system, we saw the same thing: a massive gap in care for moms during the most vulnerable, transformative phase of life.

We also felt it personally. As mothers ourselves, we longed for more than appointments: connection, real support, and a community that truly got it.

SOLEO is our response. A space rooted in clinical excellence, deep compassion, and the kind of community every mom deserves. We’re here to change how mothers are supported, one story, one circle, one day at a time.

About SOLEO Day

What guides us

Our core values

Whole-person care

We treat more than symptoms. We care for the whole individual, mind, body, and spirit, because true healing after birth is multifaceted.

Inclusion & accessibility

We believe mental health care should be available to everyone, because healing shouldn’t depend on circumstance. We are committed to an inclusive, welcoming space, and we actively remove barriers to care.

Lived experience

As mothers ourselves, we lead with empathy. Our personal journeys fuel our mission to build the support we once needed.

Connection through clinical experience

Feeling safe, seen, and supported is just as important as expert care. Every detail of SOLEO was designed to feel like a sanctuary, not a sterile space.

Collaboration

Healing is never one-size-fits-all. Our clinicians and wellness providers work together across disciplines to meet each mother’s needs.

Advocacy through action

We exist to raise the standard of perinatal care, one mother and one moment at a time.

What does SOLEO mean?

A beacon of light and love

Our name blends the Latin “Sol,” meaning light, and “Leo,” in memory of Liane’s son who passed away. A tribute to the light that endures in the darkest of times.
