What does SOLEO mean?
Our name, SOLEO represents a beacon of light and love. Blending the Latin "Sol" meaning light and "Leo" in memory of Liane's son who passed away.
A tribute to the light that endures in the darkest of times. SOLEO offers women a source of strength and comfort - helping them find their own light amidst their struggle.

What is SOLEO?
SOLEO is a maternal mental health and wellness center offering therapy, group support, and holistic services for women from pregnancy through the few years postpartum. We provide both clinical care, holistic healing and a strong sense of community.
-
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept most commercial insurance plans for our Day Treatment (IOP/PHP) program.
For outpatient services, we are an out-of-network provider. If you do not have out-of-network benefits, we have several ways we can still support you, including sliding scale rates.
No matter your coverage, we’ll walk you through your options, help you understand any benefits you may have, and explore financial support through our Community Access Fund for those facing significant financial barriers.
We believe that finances should never be a barrier to care — reach out to us and we’ll help you through it.
-
Why are you out-of-network?
Being out-of-network allows us to:
Spend more time with you. Insurance contracts often limit session length, the number of sessions allowed, or the kinds of support that can be offered. By staying independent, we can focus fully on your needs—without rushing or cutting corners.
Offer truly personalized care. Every mother’s journey is unique. Out-of-network care gives us the flexibility to tailor treatment, groups, and holistic supports in ways insurance companies often won’t cover.
Protect your privacy. When we don’t bill insurance directly (except for day treatment), your health information stays between you and your care team unless you choose to share it for reimbursement.
Reduce delays in care. Insurance approvals and authorizations can take time. Being out-of-network means we can help you get started when you’re ready, not when paperwork is processed.
✨ Simply put: this model helps us give you the time, attention, and whole-person support you deserve.

What if my insurance doesn’t cover much—or at all? What if I need financial support?
We never want cost to be a barrier to care. At SOLEO, we launched a Community Access Fund that provides scholarship and sliding scales to women who might not otherwise be able to afford our services. If you are interested in learning more about eligibility, please complete an application and/or reach out to us.
